Chalbanjare says it is 20 to 25 minutes by car from the city, along the Bargi road, with taxis and autos reaching the entrance [2]. Because the numbers differ, plan on a short taxi ride and confirm the route with your driver.
Best time
Chalbanjare suggests October to March and an early start for calm, and says to avoid June to September [2]. MakeMyTrip names the evening, when it says an aarti is performed [1]. We could not confirm an aarti schedule here, so for the well-known evening ceremony go to Gwarighat.
